OPPO’s First Foldable Flagship Smartphone – Soon to Launch

The company’s first foldable phone has been revealed by Oppo. The press renders for the Oppo Find N have emerged online ahead of the formal launch on December 15th. According to the renderings, the next foldable phone would include triple rear cameras and a fingerprint sensor on the side. The Oppo Find N’s display likewise appears to have a curved edge. In addition to the leaked images, Oppo Chief Product Officer Pete Lau tweeted a photo of the phone with a hole-punch pattern on the folding display. The Oppo Find N is set to be released next week.

Oppo has also published a teaser video to show us what their coming foldable phone would look like. The 15-second video demonstrates Oppo Find N’s inward folding design, which suggests small bezels on both the cover and foldable displays. The phone also has a hole-punch design, at least for its foldable display, which could feature an under-display camera on top.

Oppo Chief Product Officer Pete Lau has shared a photograph of Oppo Find N on Weibo to showcase its design. The company developed 125 patented technologies to eliminate the Find N’s folding crinkle, according to the executive. As a result, he claims the phone appears to have nearly no crease. Surprisingly, the image released by Lau features a black colour line where a foldable phone would ordinarily have a crease. As a result, it’s unclear how the experience will differ from the competition.

The hole-punch design on the folding display is also visible in this photograph. This indicates that the Oppo Find N will not have Samsung’s under-display camera technology, which was introduced with the Galaxy Z Fold 3 earlier this year.
