Mi Note 10 Pro Max Design & Build:

Talk about the build the Note 10 pro max is made from curved glass on the back with a glossy gradient finish. Xiaomi has always pushed its limits in designing its smartphones. The company said that it is a new design language called EVOL, which exemplifies a similar design aesthetic to its flagship.

Xiaomi worked on new design for Redmi note 10 & it is similar for all note 10 series – in this device they placed a glossy 108 Quad Camera setup on the top left giving the phone a clean and bold new aesthetic, the glossy camera module has a self-contained symmetry a perfect representation of the evol design, We like the looks of the symmetrical camera bump. The tapered edge makes the whole device feel thin and easy to handle. Note 10 pro max has got IP53 rated dust and splash protection, which is something we don’t normally see in this class of phones.

Xiaomi has added an improved z-axis vibration motor that has a premium flagship feel.

The fold-up front display is one of the most striking features of the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max offers a super AMOLED display, supports a 120Hz display refresh rate, amazing design language, and build quality, The trending & next generation highlighting feature – a 120Hz OLED screen. The 6.67-inch Super AMOLED FHD + display is premium features would become the standard for the all redmi note 10 series.

with 120Hz smooth refresh rate of smartphone
This is an excellent display for the price. The panel offers great viewing angles, saturation, black depth and everything you would expect from an OLED panel, and it is buttery smooth with fast 120hz refresh rate, gorilla glass 5 protection and a 1080p high resolution display, screens in this class are usually lcds so here you get the advantage of oled technology with its deep contrasty blacks, interacting with this screen feels fluid and responsive not only because of the fast refresh rate, but also the fast 240 Hz touch sampling rate, since it’s an oled you can save power by running things in dark mode. The punch hole design for the selfie camera looks quite small, The colors on the display looks super accurate, depending on color settings, The brightness is quite high as it measured around 450 nits by default which is respectable & it can reach maximum up to 725 nits in auto mode in outdoor usage where you won’t find difficulty in viewing the content.

Redmi Note 10 Pro Max Camera:

rear camera setup in note 10 pro max

Note 10 Pro Max has a feature-rich quad camera module with the main 108MP Samsung HM2 sensor with 0.7mm pixel size, 8MP ultra-wide sensor with 120 degree field view, 2MP depth Sensor & 5MP telemacro camera and LED flash.

Main Camera

The main camera outputs 12 megapixel photos and these are not just outstanding for this class but could even be considered as flagship level. There’s abundant detail with great looking footage, low noise and true to life colors the dynamic range is excellent.

Portrait shots

portrait shots are taken with the main camera and the dept sensor, the quality here is quite nice though the subject separation while proficient isn’t perfect, at times since there’s no telephoto camera – zoom is done digitally and you’ll end up with a photo which is soft and lacking in detail due to the upscaling.

Ultra Wide camera

The 8 megapixel ultrawide photos come out quite good they are pretty rich in detail, with accurate colors low enough noise proficient distortion correction and dynamic range is just fine.

Macro camera

The 5MP Macro camera is used to take close-up shots and these are detailed with lively colors plus having autofocus means getting a sharp result is relatively painless, the contrast and noise levels aren’t very impressive though.

Low light photography

In low light the main camera suffers from not having optical stabilization while you get bright photos with preserved colors these are quite noisy due to the high ISO and around half of your shots will come out blurry or out of focus however – the night mode turns things around, it takes around 2 seconds to process and it cleans up noise restores some blown highlights and exposes a bit more detail in shadows, We got fewer blurry photos with ultra wide shots taken at night are usable but not very good. The detail and color retention are enough but the exposure is often dark and there’s plenty of noise, there is no night mode available for wide angle camera.

Selfie Camera

Selfies are taken with the 16 megapixel front-facing cam which has fixed focus these have enough detail with nice colors and excellent contrast

Video Camera capabilities

It supports 4K with 30 frames per second, 1080p 30/60/ 120FPS, 720p at 960fps and slow motion video recording, this footage is great with plenty of detail low noise and excellent sharpness colors and contrast. The ultra wide cam can only shoot in up to 1080p at 30fps the quality is outstanding though with rich detail and excellent colors contrast and dynamic range as well as low noise. Redme has done a wonderful job of optimizing the photo hardware and camera app. Some other value-added features include cloning, you can create double-act scenes with video and still images, dual mode where you can record videos simultaneously with the front and rear camera, time-lapse Pro mode, 108MP photo panorama, slow motion, per-mode long exposure modes, short video vlog mode, and much more. it’s just hard to get that nice low light processing outside of a true flagship.

Redmi Max Performance & Software:

We have been using the smartphone in question for a while and know how it performs in the real world. As it is the cheapest smartphone in the market with a 108MP primary sensor, but what about its processor and ram?

lets check out the processing speed and multitasking capabilities.

processor in redmi note 10 pro max

This Smartphone is Powered by the Snapdragon 732G chipset of Qualcomm, which is built on an 8 nanometer process, Xiome could have used the Snapdragon the higher-version Snapdragon 750G with 5G instead of 732G 4G chip,
We think this isn’t the highest tier of mid-range chip but this soc is not bad either, this chipsets performances decent enough, since there isn’t a flagship grade gpu high frame rate gaming isn’t really supported, but even so the Adreno 618 GPU holds its own and does a nice job, performance wise for its class regular gaming feels satisfactory, Its is a power efficient chip and the MIUI interface is as smooth as butter.

Software Feature:

The phone software interface is MIUI 12 based on Android 11 operating system. Even though it is running on top of the new android os, this is still the familiar miui 12 interface we’ve seen on xiaomi’s recent phones like poco & MI.
You have the option for an app drawer which can organize your apps into categories, or you can opt to keep all of your apps on the home screen and you can also choose between a traditional notification shade or split between a notification center and a control center.
There is support for an always-on display which has plenty of customization options, you can even make the phone glow at the edges when a new notification comes in, and there’s an ir blaster too which allows you to use the phone as a remote to control certain appliances with MI remote app.

Battery Life & Charging speed:

The phone’s battery life is excellent, Xiaomi has managed to keep the 5020mAh battery, making the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max lighter and thinner than its predecessor.
In our test we fount that the battery life is excellent, but it is slightly less than last year’s model perhaps due to the high refresh rate, but still with the screen set to 120 Hz the redmi note 10 pro max has 114 hours on screen time in our test.
You get support for 30 watt fast charging and a 33 watt charger comes in the box.
we were able to charge the from a zero to 50% in 30 mins.
It’s a phone that can be used for more than a day without any problems.

Audio Output:

On the audio side the redmi note 10 pro has a pair of dedicated stereo speakers. Their output is well balanced and we found that the loudness, mids and highs sound are decent enough but bass is lacking here. There is a dedicated 3.5 mm audio jack for plugging in traditional headphones, as well as support for fm radio.

Security features & Sensor:

waking up and unlocking the phone with a side mounted fingerprint reader, built into the power button which is quite fast and accurate & this device can also be accessed by face unlock feature and can wake up the device by double-tap on screen. The phone’s sensors include the display, fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, gyro, proximity sensor and compass.
With the spectacular specs this redmi is one of the best phones we have seen so far this year. This mid-ranger that really stands out from the rest of the competitors. But What’s the difference between these Note 10 Series? Design wise all Redmi note series are similar but we will point out most important features
