Samsung has brought several mid-range phones from the Galaxy A series to Galaxy M series to the market this year. We love the Galaxy M52 and the reason has to do with how Samsung is pushing high-end features into mid-range phones. In the wake of the Galaxy A52s 5G, which easily won the title of Samsung’s best mid-range phone, the Galaxy M52 5G offers some of the best A52s features at a lower price point. The Galaxy M52 5G is the first M-series phone to feature a 120Hz refresh rate, and the Snapdragon 778G processor is currently one of the most powerful mid-range chips in the market.

The Galaxy M52 is a mid-range phone that isn’t lacking feature-wise. Its specs and price are very similar to the popular Realme GT Master Edition that is besides this device’s huge battery. This power pack, the Galaxy M52 is still 16% slimmer than Realme GT ME. But at the same time, It is however, lighter than the larger flagships. This is owing in part to its lightweight plastic construction, which, while not the best, but still feels sturdy.

Before moving forward let’s see what Galaxy M52 offers:

This Monster is Loaded with a Big 5000mAh battery, 6nm Snapdragon 778G processor with a 64MP Triple camera, and a 6.7” FHD+ OLED Display with 120Hz Refresh Rate.

Starting with its design of M52:

Despite the plastic design, the smartphone looks great. The smartphone features an elegant, lightweight design and a polycarbonate body. The back of the phone has a striped pattern made up of vertical lines. The smartphone has a stylish design and a fairly powerful processor.  Most importantly, the company is showcasing a sleek 7.4mm thin design – 21% sleeker than the previous generation Samsung Galaxy M51. 

This phone weighing 173 grams you will definitely feel the beauty of sleak & light Galaxy M52 in your pocket & because of its ergonomic design as the phone is very handy. This is even slimmer than its competitor Realme GT Master Edition.

The Galaxy M51’s side-mounted fingerprint sensor is retained in this Galaxy M52 with the power button is placed on the right-hand side which is quick and snappy, 

The volume rockers are situated above the power button. The left frame is basically clean except for the sim tray, which is a hybrid slot that allows you to connect two sim cards or a Single sim with a MicroSD card, 

The headphone jack, USB type c port, and speaker grille are all located on the phone’s bottom side.

Samsung M52 Display:

On the front, you get a 6.7-inch infinity o Super AMOLED display, with a 1080p resolution, and this time it has been upgraded to a 120Hz refresh rate. In last year’s Galaxy M51 was a standard 60Hz screen, Overall this display in M52 is nice, especially for a mid-ranger. You get a clear image, vibrant colors that can be adjusted to be pretty true in settings, and the deep blacks that OLEDs are known for. Along with gorilla glass 5 protection on this phone,

Brightness is also good, with a maximum of 370 nits and an automatic increase to 670 nits in bright settings. It also has a fast refresh rate. When swiping or scrolling, panels will appear smoother.

Galaxy M52 Performance:

The Galaxy M52 5G is powered by Qualcomm’s competent Snapdragon 778G mid-range chipset. This processor on the Galaxy M52 has fast performance, also delivers better power efficiency thanks to the 6nm chipset. The Snapdragon 778G processor delivers a 55% improvement in CPU performance, an 85% improvement in GPU performance, and a 3.5x improvement in AI performance over Galaxy M51. This is the same processor which is also used in Realme GT ME.

The base variant comes with 6GB RAM, which is more than sufficient for handling multiple apps simultaneously & you can do multitasking seamlessly on this device. This has plenty of power for running your everyday tasks with a Combination of 120Hz Display & Processing power of snapdragon this device feels fluide to use thanks to clean Samsung’s ONEUI 3.1 based on Android 11.

The Galaxy M52 has a single bottom-firing speaker. The volume isn’t terrific, but it’s not unbearable. And, in terms of quality, the mids leave a lot to be desired. But you do get a traditional 3.5mm jack, and with headphones plugged in, there is support for FM radio. 

Samsung M52 5G camera:

For people who like to take photos from time to time during family events or on the road, the rear cameras (64MP main + 12MP ultra-wide + 5MP macro) of the Galaxy M52 5G will provide decent quality without worrying about the app. right filter. In terms of cameras, the Samsung Galaxy M52 5G on the back sports a triple camera setup with a 64MP Samsung GW3 main camera with f/1.8 aperture; 12MP camera with f/2.2 aperture and 5MP camera with f/2.4 aperture. The Galaxy M52’s triple camera is familiar, with a 64MP main rear camera complemented by a 12MP ultra wide-angle camera and 5MP macro shots. It has a 64MP main sensor as well as a 12MP ultra wide-angle camera and a 5MP macro camera.  

It produces crisp and detailed images, even if they are too saturated. This camera system doesn’t have optical image stabilization on the main camera which could have solved this problem, 

64MP The main camera captures 16-megapixel photographs by default, which are fairly nice in bright light. For a mid-priced phone, you get vibrant colors, good detail, and a wide dynamic range. However, there is some visual noise. Portrait images appear to be rather good, with good edge recognition and beautiful backgrounds. Complex backgrounds and unruly hairstyles, on the other hand, are problematic for the algorithm.

Because there is no telephoto camera, zoomed photos are created by cropping and upscaling the regular camera.  

This camera has a night mode, and the images are sharper than those taken with the main camera. This gives you a wonderful boost in the highlights, but it also gives you a visible lift in the shadows. The Galaxy M52’s 32MP front-facing camera, which produces selfies with good resolution and a wide dynamic range, as well as well-exposed faces. Skin tones, on the other hand, can be hit or miss depending on how well lit the scene.

Videos can be recorded with the main camera at up to 4K resolution at 30fps. This footage is very good with excellent detail, low noise, it has electronic image stabilization (ESI) & there is not OIS supported here, but stabilization is available on both cameras and it smooths out handheld video reasonably well. 

Battery Life of Meanest Galaxy:

Recall that the previous model Samsung Galaxy M51 is the company’s first smartphone equipped with a 7000 mAh battery. In terms of battery, Samsung took a step back here and you will get a 5,000 mAh battery, due to the sleak design this is an acceptable downgrade in terms of battery life,  while its predecessor was equipped with a huge 7,000 mAh battery. This M52 has a 5000mAh battery with is not that bad, This is more than enough for regular users. Which can last upto 1.5 day of battery life in moderate usage. Where Samsung claims Talk Time Up to 48Hr on 4G network & Up to 17Hr of Internet Usage Time on LTE Network.

This phone ships with 15W normal charger & The device only supports upto 25W fast charging, which is little disappointed where the rival Realme GT ME gets 65W Fast Charging support. 

Charging Time form 0% to 100% M52 takes around 1Hr 20min to charge with 25W fast charger & with 15W charger, it takes around 1Hr 50min to chargup the phone.

This Phone has a proprietary Knox security system to increase the security of the device and NFC support which makes it easy for contactless payments using the Samsung pay app. This Galaxy provides you with continuous nationwide access to any 5G network with 11 bands which allows you to stream at blazing fast speeds, However, 5G is still not available in India yet. Is this Galaxy M52 5G a good all round midranger?

The successor to the Galaxy M51 launched last year, the smartphone outperforms its predecessor in various segments. The Galaxy M52 5G is the latest in a line of Samsung M-series phones that strive to deliver value and performance. The picture quality and the clarity of the display ensure an enjoyable gaming experience. The Galaxy M52 5Gs display has Gorilla Glass 5 protection, which should provide some protection from scratches and accidental drops. The Galaxy M52 5G is powered by Qualcomm’s competent Snapdragon 778G mid-range chipset.  

We are bit disappointed that Samsung did not equip the M52 with 5G stereo speakers & a fast charger, but considering the aggressive pricing of this phone, this is another thing we can’t be too negative. If you are looking for a phone with top-notch performance, beautiful display, high refresh rate, 5G support, and long battery life (super-fast charging after purchasing a supercharger), the Galaxy M52 5G is a good choice.) Without digging too deep holes in your pockets. Overall, the Samsung Galaxy M52 5G is a simple recommendation for anyone looking for a rugged Android phone with a price of approximately Rs 25,000. If you put up with its boring design, the rest of the phone is also pleasant to use.
